The NFL legend Tom Brady retired from professional football over a month ago, but the media and fans seem to be reluctant to accept his decision as they still want him on the pitch.
The GOAT played 23 years in the top tier of American football leagues for the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the meantime, he obtained a showcase full of accolades and rare feats, which is almost impossible to recreate by any other player.
However, despite providing his lifetime of contribution, Tom is still desired by the franchises and fans to come back from retirement once again.

Just like any other offseason, the franchises tried to strengthen their roster by adding a suitable QB. Thus the San Francisco 49ers reportedly had shown interest in the former Bucs star quarterback and NFL GOAT Tom Brady.

The 49ers have quite a decent option in their roster, including the rookie sensation Brock Purdy. The ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ attracted all the attention by throwing 13 touchdowns and gaining 1,374 yards of passing in a whopping 67% success rate last season.
However, in the big games like playoffs, the teams need additional experience to hold their nerve in the intense moments, and Brady would be the perfect suit as Purdy’s mentor off and on the field.
Having Purdy injured for the unforeseeable future, the Niners are in need of a starting quarterback for the 2023 season. Moreover, lacking such a criterion, the franchise might try to convince the seven-time Super Bowl winner to come out of retirement.

On the other hand, after returning for the second time in 2022, Tom’s ex-wife Gisele decided to part away from him since the GOAT was obsessed with his game and gave no time to his family. With the unfortunate divorce, his performance wasn’t as impactful as it used to be.
