Grayson Waller has experienced significant growth since his debut on WWE SmackDown. Waller had been involved in major segments with John Cena & Edge. Even Grayson had faced the Rated R in a classic match on the recent edition of Blue brand, though he suffered a loss but still managed to impress many WWE fans.
However, in the recent few days, Waller has been trying to get attention from non-other than the ‘People’s Champion The Rock’ AKA Dwayne Johnson.
Grayson Waller’s daring challenge to the Rock
The beef between Waller & The Rock started from a social media post where the 33-year-old star talked about his Madison Square Garden debut. However, the Great One responded in the comment section of that video by talking about his own MSG debut and mocking the SmackDown star.
In response, Waller had invited the Rock for his own “Waller Effect” show. Even on the recent edition of the Blue brand, Waller targeted the Rock by stating that his Family i.e. The Bloodline is imploding every single week on SmackDown but The People’s Champion was worried about him.
In his latest response, Waller again seems to be calling out The Rock by using The superstar’s very own iconic gif.

If somehow the SmackDown star is able to pull this off, this may just be the biggest segment or match he will ever be part of.
Speculations of The Rock appearing at SummerSlam have already emerged
For those unaware, there are already speculations about the surprise appearance of the Hollywood star at the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’. Reports emerged that the writers from Hollywood were on some sort of strike, which could result in the free time for the Rock from his Hollywood commitments. However, along with Dwayne Johnson, The Cenation Leader John Cena is also likely to appear on the show.

The upcoming premium live event already seems to be a jam-packed show. It is set to feature some mega matches like Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso, Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes, etc.
The addition of some major surprises like The Rock & John Cena could further fuel the anticipation of this year’s Summerslam. The 16x-time World Champion had recently appeared at Money in the Bank 2023, however, the People’s Champion hasn’t appeared on WWE television for a long time.
It will be interesting to see if the Stamford-based Promotion will actually be able to pull out either one or both of these two massive returns for SummerSlam 2023.
