John Cena is indeed one of the most beloved Babyface superstars in WWE history. His popularity can be attributed to his charismatic and heroic character. However, during his early career when he portrayed the persona of “Doctor of Thuganomics.”
This character was quite distinct from his current persona and showcased Cena’s rapping skills and edgier personality. However, during one non-PG segment with Stephanie McMahon, Cena made some controversial remarks where he revealed his fetish and also mocked Sable.
John Cena revealed his fetish while calling Sable “h*e”
In July 2003, WWE presented a non-PG segment involving Stephanie McMahon, the Billion Dollar Princess, and John Cena, who was portraying his Doctor of Thuganomics character at the time. Stephanie, who served as the General Manager of SmackDown, was in a feud with Sable.
Before their scheduled match at the WWE Vengeance premium live event in 2003, Stephanie entered the ring to deliver a promo on the Blue brand. She warned Sable and expressed her intention to unleash all her built-up aggression during their upcoming bout. However, her promo was interrupted by the arrival of rapper John Cena.
Apologizing for the interruption, Cena proceeded to perform a non-PG rap in the ring, playfully making references to Stephanie McMahon’s physical attributes. He even jokingly mentioned, “I got this little fetish with nipples.”

In a surprising twist, Cena offered Stephanie $20 to rip Sable’s top off during their match at Vengeance 2003. Taking it a step further, he playfully asked the SmackDown General Manager to permit him to smack her backside. To Cena’s astonishment, Stephanie gave her approval, even posing for him before leaving the ring.
“Sable is just a h**, you are a diva with class. Nobody is watching us Steph, why don’t you let me smack that a**,”
After getting approval, Cena smacked the back of the Billion Dollar Princess.

Along with being a WWE Superstar, Cena is one of the Biggest Hollywood stars also. The Cenation Leader also played a cameo in one of the recent Hollywood hits named Barbie. In the Barbie movie, Cena made a minor appearance by featuring his former castmate Margot Robbie.
The 16x WWE Champion had played the role of a Merman Ken opposite to one of the popular names Dua Lipa. Cena in the movie role showed his love interest in Dua Lipa.

The look of the Cenation leader also received mixed reactions from his fans. However, it seems like Cena is trying to step outside of his comfort zone and tries to add some more variations to his character. His current image in Hollywood seems like a tough guy but by playing this role, the Cenation Leader has showcased his real acting skills.
