Sofyan Amrabat is constantly left out of Fiorentin’s Europa Conference League squad and he is keen on making a debut at United. However, the transfer is not as simple as people think, signing the player may result in a violation of some financial fair pay rules. The club is now thinking of signing Sofyan over a loan.
Though the club has other options available including Bayern’s midfielder Ryan Gravenberch it still looks like Erik Ten Hag is obsessed with the Moroccan and wants to have him in his team at all costs. Ten Hag is in a race against time and needs to act quickly if he wants Sofyan in his squad.
Amrabat played under Erik Ten Hag at Utrecht
One of the reasons why Sofyan Amrabat is keen on joining Manchester United is due to his relationship with Erik Ten Hag. The player knows United’s manager personally as he has played under his guidance before during his time at Utrecht. He was able to evolve as a player under Ten Hag who now plans on reuniting with the player.
In an interview in February Sofyan praised Ten Hag and his coaching ways revealing how he helped him improve as a player and his importance in Amrabat’s life: “It was my second year in the first team. He made a plan for me. He asked me about my strong points and what I wanted to improve. From the first day, he was busy with me. Not only me, but all the players” said Sofyan.
