Recently, Ronaldo helped win the Arab Club Champions Cup, mounting a great comeback in the final to lift the trophy.
Ronaldo is however a man on a new mission. After missing out on last season’s league title to Al Ittihad, he is determined to win this season, and his performances have proved him right. Yesterday’s win was the club’s third in a row and it seems they are on the right track to get back on top of the table.
CR7’s contributions have been enormous in the wins, scoring six goals and providing four assists in just four games. This makes him the current top scorer and top assist provider in the league so far. He has been awarded the Player of the Month award for August due to his contributions.
Michael Emenalo applauds Ronaldo’s impact beyond football
While Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player on the pitch, he is also a great role model for kids all around the world. His healthy lifestyle along with his hard work and determination make him a source of inspiration for millions.
This earned him praise from Michael Emenalo, who is a director in the Saudi Pro League. According to TCR, he said, “Cristiano Ronaldo is not only a footballer but a role model for the youth of Saudi Arabia.”
