It has been great to see John Cena appear consistently on WWE Programming after so long despite his transition to being a Hollywood superstar. This run has coincided with the Writer’s SGA strike, which doesn’t make him liable to film movies and rather return to wrestling with a minimum risk of a potential injury.

John Cena explains his WWE future
In the post-Fastlane press conference, John Cena was asked about his future in the WWE after the strike is over. He explained how showing up to work in Hollywood is a big responsibility and he can’t commit to both professions. Also, a WWE Legend appearing consistently on television reduces their value. But it didn’t stop Cena with sold-out attendance numbers at Fastlane due to his presence.
It was great to see him back in the squared circle once again. The match at Fastlane where he teamed up with LA Knight to take on The Bloodline received plaudits from fans and critics. But WWE Universe has to accept the fact that this dream run is coming to an end sooner rather than later.
Triple H discusses Cena’s current run
The WWE Fastlane press conference was one of the most entertaining things to watch with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso being slightly tipsy. This made for a fun watch with some really comedic moments. Even Triple H commented it was brilliant to watch when he appeared on the panel.
The Chief Content Officer of WWE, Triple H spoke on the importance of Cena and his contribution to the business over 20 years. He was quoted, “I recognize what John is talking about when he says he doesn’t know how long he has to do this. I would just say this to everyone out there, revel in it, I know I am because the appreciation level that John should get is off the charts.”
“It’s the sad truth that John Cena is in the final innings of his illustrious WWE career and the fans should relish the time left. Triple H spoke on the topic saying, “People need to just understand how good he is and what he means to this industry. When he’s here, don’t criticize it, don’t overthink it, just enjoy it, because it won’t last forever and we all need to understand that.” Triple H added.
