Who is Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, top on the list of Arsenal targets months after big-money addition of Declan Rice?

Arsenal are having an exceptionally good season in the Premier League under the supervision of their Spanish boss, Mikel Arteta. The Gunners are unbeaten domestically, aiming to recreate the famous Invincible era with a young, motivated squad.

Mikel Arteta has transformed the struggling Arsenal into a force to be reckoned with. Last season, they narrowly missed out on the title, finishing second in the league, but secured their Champions League berth after six seasons. The Gunners have recently signed Declan Rice for a substantial fee and have set their sights on new, young targets.

Who is Jamie Bynoe-Gittens?

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, a 19-year-old English winger born in London, plays his club football with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund. Bynoe-Gittens is a Manchester City youth product who moved to Dortmund in 2020, following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham.

The Bundesliga wonder kid broke into Dortmund’s first team last year in April. He was handed his debut against Wolfsburg following an impressive campaign with the Yellow and Blacks U19 side, as he led them to the UEFA Youth League quarterfinals in the season 2021-22.

The 19-year-old has received high praise from Dortmund boss Edin Terzic and his colleagues. The winger has been impressive in his 29 appearances for his club and is regarded as a highly high-potential prospect, often compared to Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho due to the similarity in their playing styles.

In addition to his club career, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens recently made his debut for the England U21 national team last month in September against Luxembourg in the UEFA European U21 Championship qualifiers.

The teenager has caught the attention of Arsenal, as they are keen to sign the English sensation despite his contract renewal with Dortmund until 2028. They are ready to pay substantial transfer fees to secure his services.

The list includes captain Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and many more.
