Other players of the Chiefs also played very well including the wide receiver Travis Kelce. Kelce, a key target for Mahomes, had an outstanding game, catching nine passes for 124 yards, setting a record for the most receiving yards by a tight end in a game that season.

After winning his 12th game against the Broncos on Thursday, the quarterback expressed his satisfaction with his team’s performance, emphasizing the importance of red zone efficiency and the execution of the little things.

“Today was big. Getting in the red zone was big. Third downs, we’ve got to continue to work on and get better at. As a whole, we’ve got the talent. It’s how can we execute the little things and be that team we want to be.”

He also commended the Chiefs’ defense for their consistency throughout the season.

“(As an) offensive guy I want to see a lot of points, but it’s great to see that defense locking down a good team. They’ve done it all year long and they don’t get the credit. The defense is something special so far.”

The Chiefs are one of the strongest teams this season. Patrick Mahomes along with strong contributions from Travis Kelce and the defense of the team has propelled the Chiefs to their fifth consecutive win and solidified their position atop the AFC West.
