Logan Paul has been making a name for himself in WWE. On the most recent episode of SmackDown, he made his comeback and issued a challenge to Rey Mysterio for a United States Championship showdown at Crown Jewel. Fans were at first excited by the prospect of him challenging Roman Reign in their pre-existing crown jewel conflict.
It seemed strange that he would go up on RAW on a Monday night while his rivalry was taking place on SmackDown. LP had intended to talk to a Mysterio family member when he went up on RAW, but he insulted Ricochet’s fiancee, Samantha Irwin, instead.
Ricochet assaults Logan Paul and Dominik Mysterio
WWE welcomed Logan Paul back following his rivalry with Dillon Danis. On the most recent episode of SmackDown, he challenged Rey Mysterio to a bout for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel. He came in today’s RAW and teased his opponent Dillon Danis and discussed his impending encounter. He said he would beat Rey Mysterio in Saudi Arabia with ease.
When Dominik Mysterio showed up with his theme song, they both poked fun at Dom’s father, Rey Mysterio. Then Logan Paul turned his attention to ringside observer Samantha Irvin. After Logan beat Ricochet at SummerSlam, Samantha approached the ring and Logan discussed having her declare him the winner. The moment he was planning on having Samantha provide a sneak peek of Crown Jewel, Ricochet sprung out of the throng.
Ricochet jumped at Logan and Dominik with a slamming knee, knocking Dominik unconscious. But Logan grabbed Dom and yanked him out of the ring. Even if Logan shouldn’t endorse Ricochet’s fiancee, the episode finished in a manner that might lead to a new ally for Dom Dom.
Logan Paul defeated Ricochet with illegal blow
After their confrontations at the Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank, fans were looking forward to seeing Logan Paul and Ricochet square off at SummerSlam. This time, Logan Paul came out on top owing to the brass knuckles provided by Jeff Wittek. The battle included the prestigious moves of several superstars.
Among Logan’s skills was a running power slam in the style of Braun Strowman and classic Hulk Hogan moves, culminating in a leg drop he dubs the “Hogan Paul.” After missing a 630°, Ricochet countered with a moonsault and a move inspired by The Rock’s People’s Elbow setup.
Paul and Ricochet almost ended the bout when they slipped from a ladder and through tables, but luckily landed on the ropes. The contest was decided by a knockout punch delivered by Logan’s right hand called “brass knuckles.”
