NBA legend Dennis Rodman receives love from Bulls fans on his return following blowout victory over Jimmy Butler’s Heat

Dennis Rodman will always be remembered as one of the greatest defenders of all time. He grabbed rebounds like no one else and won five championship rings, three with the Bulls and two with the Detroit Pistons.

Rodman played for five different teams in his career but the team where he received the most love, was the Chicago Bulls. Jordan, Rodman and Scottie Pippen were three of the Bulls’ most popular players. Rodman received a lot of love from his fans on his return to the court following the Bulls’ recent victory against the Miami Heat.

Dennis Rodman receives warm welcome from Bulls fans

The Chicago Bulls secured a 102-97 victory, snapping the Miami Heat’s seven-game winning streak. The crowd was taken aback when their legend Dennis Rodman unexpectedly showed up just before the game. He received a warm welcome from Bulls fans and to date remains a legend of the franchise.

The former player was a member of the Chicago Bulls. The “Worm” wrote about his connection to the franchise and his relationship with it in his book. He clinched the final three rebounding titles alongside the Bulls and Michael Jordan. The Bulls and his teammates were the ones who recognized his special personality and abilities in the midst of controversy.

During an interview, he said, “I get so emotional because they love me so much. Thirteen years since I’ve been here, and guess what, there’s so much love here, and I respect these people so much.”

The crowd expressed their love towards Rodman who graced the United Center in Chicago to witness their game against the Miami Heat. The AEW Collision wrestling program was the reason the legend was in Chicago. He did, however, take a brief break to go to the United Center. Upon his return, he was treated with the same respect and affection as he had in 1995. Thinking back on his time as a player for the Bulls, Rodman expresses how much he enjoyed playing with Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

He also revealed to the fans one of his sincere wishes. He expressed his hope that one day his No. 91 Bulls jersey would be retired with Jordan’s. Over the past 13 years, his love for the city and the team hasn’t changed.

Bulls beat Heat

The Chicago Bulls defeated Miami 102-97 on Saturday night, led by 23 points from DeMar DeRozan, ending the Heat’s seven-game winning streak.

The Bulls were forced to attempt a comeback after falling behind by double digits for the third straight game. The Bulls rallied fiercely in the fourth quarter to end their three-game losing streak, despite trailing 22-1 midway through the first quarter and with boos ringing from the home crowd

Alex Caruso scored 11 points and all five Chicago starters reached double figures. Nikola Vucevic added 15 points, Coby White scored 14 and Zach LaVine contributed 13.

The Heat led the game until the very end thanks to 25 points from Jimmy Butler. But in the closing seconds, Butler missed two 3-pointers. Bam Adebayo recorded his seventh double-double of the year with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Duncan Robinson added 17.
