Roman Reigns’ continuous WWE absence raises concerns
As of today, Roman Reigns has successfully defended the WWE Universal Championship 27 times. Last time Roman defended the title was at the Crown Jewel. He defeated LA Knight, retaining the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, making him the second-longest reigning champion in WWE history, behind Bruno Sammartino’s 2,803-day reign.
It remains unclear when Roman Reigns will return to full-time programming, but there’s a likelihood that he will take another break from WWE in the future. Roman Reigns expected to miss massive WWE 2024 event
Bash in Berlin is an upcoming professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by WWE. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion’s Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. It will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Germany, marking WWE’s first PPV and livestreaming event to be held in the country.
Now the official poster for the Bash in Berlin pay-per-view has been released. However, Roman Reigns, the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, is not pictured on the official poster. This does not necessarily mean that he will not be appearing at the event, but it is a notable omission.
Reigns is WWE’s biggest star and a major draw for live events and pay-per-views. If he is healthy and available, it is likely that WWE will want him to appear at Bash in Berlin.
