Jake Paul stunned professional boxer Tyron Woodley with a knockout blow on a thrilling Friday night. Before the fight, Woodley had an impressive 10-1 record. The first round’s thunderous uppercut, delivered with pinpoint accuracy, rocked the arena.
Amidst the boisterous assembly, all eyes shifted to Logan Paul, Jake’s brother. The stunning triumph signaled a turning point in Jake’s career and astounded onlookers. Long after the last bell rang, the sport’s unpredictable nature continued to fuel that night’s energy.
Logan Paul reacts to Jake Paul’s first-round KO win
As the hard-fought fight progressed, Logan Paul, Jake’s brother and a well-known WWE star, was there to witness the action live. Holding a recording device, he also captured the pivotal knockout. The moment the crushing uppercut made contact, the camera panned quickly to Logan, who leaped out of his chair with reckless abandon. His broad, joyous smile conveyed the mix of pride and excitement that came from being there to witness his brother’s victorious outcome.
Logan then mocked August by pretending to be asleep while grinning broadly. Logan captioned the video he posted on his X account with the words “My God.” When asked about his reaction to the knockout backstage, Logan said, “Wow, an uppercut from the heavens.” “Stop doubting Jake Paul, you’re stupid.”
The Problem Child has previously stunned Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren, and Nate Robinson with one-punch knockouts. This is not his first impressive one-punch knockout. However, Jake acknowledged during his press conference following the fight that August’s KO might take first place.
Jake Paul shares hilarious post-match moment with Vivek Ramaswamy
As Jake Paul arrived for his fight with Andre August on Friday night, he met his close friend and Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Four months after defeating UFC star Nate Diaz, Paul was scheduled to make his ring comeback against August, a professional boxer.
The YouTuber-turned-fighter invited Ramaswamy to watch him battle August from the ringside ahead of his most recent appearance. Ramaswamy’s spokesperson, Tricia McLaughlin, told TMZ earlier in the day that the presidential candidate is going to Orlando to back Paul because the two have grown close.
According to McLaughlin, he intends to swiftly catch up with The Problem Child following the fight before traveling directly to Iowa for six planned campaign events on Saturday. Their friendship was first made public when Paul shared a dance video with Ramaswamy on TikTok in September.
Due to TikTok’s ties to the Chinese government, Ramaswamy has been questioned about the video multiple times during the Republican debates. After the match, when Jake won and met Ramaswamy, Jake said, “He voted for Biden,” and in reply, Ramaswamy laughed.
In January, Jake also signed an MMA contract with the Professional Fighters League, but he hasn’t made an appearance yet. Paul defeated retired athletes and other internet celebrities to become the face of influencer boxing.
