A main event featuring Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor for the third time has always been in the minds of fans, even after the announcement that Michael Chandler will be the next opponent for McGregor. MMA fans are still anticipating that Nate will surely feature in the mega event against the former double champion of the UFC.
Recently, Nate Diaz uploaded an image, captioning it, “It’s time.” Now that the news has started to circulate, the fans might get to see their favorite fighter in the octagon any time soon, as per Sportskeeda.
Nate Diaz is still the UFC fans’ favorite fighter when it comes to entertainment. The ex-UFC fighter, who has been in mixed martial arts since childhood, has been considered as one of the best ground game fighters in the history of the UFC.
However, Diaz last fought in the boxing ring against Jake Paul, facing a unanimous decision loss in a 10-round fight. After that August 5 fight, no fights have been announced yet, but the trilogy fight against Conor McGregor is still a desire of MMA fans.
Conor McGregor is ready to make his octagon return at UFC 300
The Irish fighter is almost on the edge of announcing that he might be featuring in the UFC 300 main event on April 13th. Dana White is also keeping the fans excited about who will be featuring in the UFC 300 main event.
In a recent tweet, Dana announced Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic for the UFC 300 fight. Also, other cards featuring former Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling and return of Bo Nickal.
“Now, what everybody has been waiting for. No main events or anything like that but I will tell you on April 13th, UFC 300, No.2-ranked Jiri Prochazka versus No.5-ranked Aleksandar Rakic. Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling moves up to the featherweight division, No.7-ranked Calvin Kattar, and the return of Bo Nickal. He hasn’t lost a fight in five [fights], he’s got five wins, all coming by finishes, he’s 5-0 and he is taking on Cody Brundage.”
Now it is believed that before White made the official announcement on Conor McGregor, the fighting community started to give their full stake in McGregor, featuring the UFC 300 main event. Already, “the Notorious” gave a hint on one of his now-deleted post, via. Marca.

The USADA testing pool has already been started for McGregor. So far, one test is done, but before the fight announcement, he might have to submit more samples to get the green signal for fighting in the cage.
