Who made the cut for Gen.G eSports LOL lineup for Spring Split 2024? Everything you need to know

Gen.G esports, a professional eSports organisation since 2017, has finally released its LOL Lineup for Spring Split 2024, featuring a mix of returning players and newcomers. Season 13, for Gen.G was a golden charm, where they were the lions and the year was their jungle. They clinched back-to-back championships in Spring and Summer 2023.

Nevertheless, the true potential of the team surfaced the internet when they entered the international competitions. They got eliminated by China’s Bilibili Gaming in both MSI and Worlds 2023. This was a testament to Gen.G and they have since made a substantial shift in their roster for the Spring Split 2024.

Who is in Gen.G eSports LOL lineup?

Gen.G, unlike T1, has made some drastic but needed changes to its roster, thus making it a potentially more challenging roster for the rest of the teams.

Son “Lehends” Si-woo, one of the top support players in the LCK, has made a comeback to Gen.G. He has played for KT Rolster before, showing a lot of compassion for the game and his team. Top laner Kim “Kiin” Gi-in, his former KT Rolster teammate, is also now a part of the new dream team. Moreover, mid laner Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, from season 13 has been re-signed. Worlds 2020 champion, jungler Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu is also invited to the roster.

Thus, the new Gen.G roster is:

  • Kim “Kiin” Gi-in.
  • Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu.
  • Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon.
  • Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan.
  • Son “Lehends” Si-woo.
  • Kim “KIM” Jeong-soo (coach)

This combination of top-talented players brings a lot of expectation to the table for the company. This team has what it takes to clinch victory in both of the LCK splits once again.
