One of the crucial parts of the Cleveland Browns’ offseason is the return of their key player, Nick Chubb, who has not been able to play because of a severe ACL injury.
Recently, the team’s GM, Andrew Berry, provided an update about Chubb’s injury and how soon fans can expect to see him on the field again.

Nick Chubb has not fully recovered yet and is still working hard to recover soon. Reportedly, the RB is in the hyperbaric chamber every morning at 5 AM to get back to 100%.
He already had two knee surgeries but he had not been cleared by the doctors to play in the game.
Nick Chubb has been one of the best running backs in the NFL. He hardly missed any game and remained healthy throughout his career.
The RB exceeded 1,000 total yards in each of his first five seasons and totaled 48 rushing touchdowns along the way. But unfortunately, he couldn’t continue to flourish in his career because of a severe injury.
Nick Chubb suffered a major knee injury in the second game of the 2023 NFL season because of which he couldn’t play for the rest of the season.
It’s now the offseason and the 2024 season will start soon but the RB has not fully recovered yet and no exact timeline was provided about when he would make a comeback.
However, the recent update on Nick Chubb’s injury by the Browns’ GM has provided a positive indication and hope for the fans.
Andrew Berry provides Nick Chubb’s latest return timeline
Browns GM Andrew Berry provided an update on Nick Chubb’s recovery ahead of the 2024 season during a media briefing. Berry, while cautious, acknowledged Chubb’s positive progress but refrained from giving a specific return date.
“We are going to be conservative in terms of our approach in our assessment with building the roster because he is coming off of a major knee injury.”
Berry hinted that more clarity on Chubb’s return timeline might come around the time of the NFL Draft, which is one month away.
“But I do have to give him a lot of credit. He’s done a really, really nice job. But I think we’ll have a better sense, don’t hold me to it, but I think probably if you ask me that question around the draft, I may have maybe a little bit more of a specific answer.”
Head coach Kevin Stefanski also talked about Nick Chubb and expressed optimism about his progress.
“I’m excited for Nick,” stated Stefanski. “He’s doing a great job with his rehab as everybody can imagine. We’ll just make sure that we continue to make decisions based on him and the medical staff. But excited about Nick.”
Despite the lack of a precise timeline, the consensus is that Nick Chubb is recovering well, which is more important than a specific return date.
