Shaquille O’Neal Hits Back To The Timberwolves’ Center’s Latest Jab

Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has often criticized Rudy Gobert, the Timberwolves’ center. Things got worse when Shaq called Rudy the “worst player in the NBA.” Shaq has now added his own spin to the topic by firing back in response to Rudy’s “triggered” statement.

In a recent interview with Complex, Shaquille O’Neal dubbed Rudy Gobert the worst NBA player. O’Neal went on to add that Gobert’s massive deal was a waste and that it was “ruining the system.” The 32-year-old responded smartly on his Twitter handler, but the feud reignited when Shaq took another jab at him.

On The OG’s Podcast, O’Neal dismissed Gobert’s success and downplayed any personal upset, saying he wasn’t bothered by Gobert’s achievements. He said, “If you’re talking about your accomplishments of those little trophies you got that’s not enough when you making $250 million young man, it’s not enough. You want to impress me and UD and Mike….”

Shaq further added, “Win a championship and shut us the f–k up that’s how you shut us up,” added Haslem. “That’s it, win a championship and shut us the f—k up. That’s it, you got a young dog over there with you, so win a championship and everybody shut the f—k up.”

Shaquille O’Neal Roasts Rudy Gobert’s Olympic Blunder

Watching their ongoing beef, it’s clear Rudy Gobert hasn’t impressed Shaquille O’Neal in his 11-year NBA career. On The OGs podcast, Shaq even mocked Gobert’s infamous moment at the Paris Olympics when he fell and got stuck under Joel Embiid’s legs. It’s like Shaq’s keeping the heat alive with a constant reminder.

Shaquille said, “You don’t think I’m right? Look at this play right here. Why would somebody push you down, and you fall and grab their knees and put your head between their legs? You’re the Defensive Player of the Year, but every scouting report I’m looking at, they’re targeting you.””
