Lakers’ coach JJ Redick Still Needs A Plan For The First Father-Son Duo

Lakers’ new coach, JJ Redick, is getting a lot of love from fans, even though he’s just starting out as a coach. Back in the day, a lot of players and NBA legends didn’t really seem to notice him much at all. But after a recent interview, fans are starting to think that Redick is doing pretty well, even though he’s new to coaching.

Now, fans are excited to see how he will use LeBron James and his son, Bronny James as they aim to make history as the first father-son duo to play on the same team.

LeBron James and Bronny James are enjoying practicing with the Los Angeles Lakers during the offseason. Everyone is excited, and the new coach, JJ Redick, and his team are thinking about how to make a special moment by having them play together in their first NBA game.

However, they haven’t finalized any plans yet. The head coach said, “We don’t have anything planned, per se, in terms of a commitment to do it this way. We obviously have talked about it as a staff, and we’ve gotten into some specifics of what that might look like, but we haven’t committed to anything.”

Redick believes that LeBron and Bronny playing together will set a new standard in Lakers history. So, during “The Lowe Post” podcast on Tuesday, he confidently stated that he expects this historic moment to happen “sooner rather than later.”

Lakers Governors believe the challenge might be on Bronny

As the Lakers gear up for the new season, excitement is building around LeBron James and Bronny James. While fans focus on the duo’s chemistry on the court, the team’s governors think the real challenge could be Bronny James, LeBron’s son.

In a recent preseason press conference, Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka shared, “ Maybe the challenge is on Bronny, when like in our pickup game, he got switched on to LeBron, and LeBron took him baseline, up and under off the glass. The words exchanged afterwards were probably more challenging than anything else.”
