Cody Rhodes Breaks His Silence Following Kevin Owens’ Surprise Attack At WWE Bad Blood

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teamed up in an electrifying showdown at Bad Blood 2024 to take on the formidable duo of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The appearance of “The Final Boss” escalated the tension by casting doubt on the Bloodline’s plot, which included Rhodes and Reigns.

Meanwhile, things kept getting worse between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes, which surprised everyone because their friendship began to fall apart. After remaining silent regarding Kevin Owens’ assault on him during Bad Blood, the American Nightmare finally spoke up.

During an interview with Ramazani Mwamba from the Manchester Evening News, Rhodes addressed the recent attack. His response was comprehensive and unexpected, offering no prior warning.

“I’d be foolish to try and tell you anything different because the entire video exists online and you can see every inch of it. I’ll try and keep my remarks short in terms of how I feel but I will tell you this.

It’s a very passionate industry, everybody wants the north star of our business which is the WWE championship and the championship that I hold at this time. I don’t know if you’ll see this unfold on screens, on Smackdown, on Raw or when we come overseas.”

Cody Rhodes on the early start of Road to WrestleMania

Early in the same conversation, Cody Rhodes shared his thoughts on the thrilling events at WWE Bad Blood 2024 and how they mark the start of the Road to WrestleMania. His statements were filled with excitement and love for Atlanta.

He said, “Pro Wrestling and sports entertainment tends to like dive into that. Perhaps it does, or perhaps its dealt internally. I overall, I did feel very happy about my match at Bad Blood. I was happy for the city of Atlanta, that being the city that raised me.

Everything happened and appeared and I was happy for Atlanta and the WWE because it feels like the road to Wrestlemania started early this year.”
