“It’s war” – Warriors Set to Challenge Klay Thompson’s Mavericks This Season

As the NBA preseason heats up and the regular season gets closer, the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors are back on the court. Both teams are starting an exciting new chapter this season.

Everyone is looking forward to Klay Thompson’s return, but the big talk is about the upcoming rivalry between the “Splash Brothers.” With Stephen Curry’s declaration that it’s a war, the stakes couldn’t be higher for this exciting clash.

Recently, Curry and his long-time friend Draymond Green talked to Ohm Youngmisuk from ESPN at the Warriors’ training camp in Lāʻie, Hawaii. They had a conversation regarding Klay Thompson’s transfer to the Dallas Mavericks and what it will be like to face him for the first time this season.

Stephen Curry said, “Through training camps and practices, we played against each other on opposite team, But nothing like an actual competitive NBA game. So they’ll have the ceremony.”

The four-time champion added, “I’m going to be fully engaged and present and making sure you celebrate him the way he’s supposed to. And then after that, it’s war. That’s how we’re all built.”

The Warriors, adjusting to life without Thompson, are confident in their ability to maintain their high standards. With Curry and Green at the helm, and emerging talents like Moses Moody stepping up, the team is ready to embrace the challenge.
