Lakers Earn First Preseason Win Over Bucks, But Bronny’s Struggles Continue

The Los Angeles Lakers resumed their preseason game on Thursday night, but not this time with a loss. LeBron James and Coach JJ Redick were not happy about traveling so far for just one game, but they were happy after winning against the Bucks. However, Bronny James still had a tough time on the court.

This victory of the Lakers marked the first win of JJ Redick’s coaching career. After a previous preseason game against the Suns that ended poorly due to a risky decision, the purple and gold finally triumphed with a 107-102 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

However, Bronny James remained in the spotlight as he continued to struggle on the court. Redick convinced fans that there was no need to be concerned about Austin Reaves’ absence due to ankle pain, but worries persisted since Bronny had an exhausting match.

The young guard played only six minutes and didn’t score, missing all four of his shots, including two three-pointers. Despite showing effort on defense with a couple of steals, Bronny’s offensive challenges were clear, and he has yet to make a mark this preseason.

Stats to watch in Lakers vs Bucks game

LeBron James played only the first half and scored 11 points. Anthony Davis also scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds. The Lakers made some great steals, including two by Bronny James.

Meanwhile, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 20 points, and Bobby Portis scored 23 points off the bench as Milwaukee rested its starters in the second half.
