Bronny James Struggles in NBA Preseason, Ranks Last Among 494 Players

Bronny James’ underwhelming preseason performance has left Lakers fans frustrated. Despite LeBron James reassuring that summer league stats don’t matter, Bronny has shown no improvement in the pro league. Recent reports highlight that Bronny has the lowest plus/minus among 494 players in three preseason games, sparking widespread criticism online.

Bronny James has only played 36 minutes in three preseason games, allowing the Lakers to outscore them by 40 points. This puts him at the bottom of the league with the worst plus/minus among 494 NBA players.

Averaging only 11.9 minutes per game, Bronny has put up just 0.7 points, 1.0 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 1.0 blocks. His shooting struggles are evident, making just 1 of 11 shots and missing all four three-point attempts.

As the No. 55 pick in the 2024 Draft and only 20 years old, expectations shouldn’t be too high. However, being LeBron James’ son brings intense pressure, and fans are already expressing their frustrations on social media.

Fans slam Bronny James for his underwhelming performance

Fans’ reactions have been far from mixed—they’ve been openly critical of Bronny James’ performance. Compared to other Lakers rookies, his play has fallen short. Comments on social media have ranged from harsh to very harsh, with some fans questioning his place in the NBA.

One user, @Tiger__Vibes, remarked, “”It’s almost as if this mf sucks and only got in the league because of who his daddy is 🤔”
