Since Triple H took over from Vince McMahon, WWE has seen many changes. However, The Undertaker views one particular change in a very different light. With Triple H now in charge of WWE’s creative direction, Undertaker recently shared which of these changes surprised him the most.
On Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast, The Undertaker shared that WWE’s backstage feels much calmer under Triple H’s leadership, unlike the last-minute chaos often seen during Vince McMahon’s era. He reflected on how those high-pressure situations used to be the norm.
The Deadman noted, “It’s crazy to me how calm everything is backstage now. You know, Paul’s demeanor is so chill. Every time I see him, he’s got time to sit down and explain something to you. It’s just not that helter-skelter fire drill anymore – which I thrived in. You had to be able to do that.”
Recalling those old days, he said, “I just remember working on a promo all day long, and then 10 minutes before you go out, it’s completely changed. You had to come up with something and you gotta go do it. You gotta do it live. It’s so calm, it’s almost too calm for me.”
The Undertaker warns Logan Paul
Logan Paul recently received praise from WWE legend The Undertaker, who appeared on his podcast Impaulsive and applauded his transition into wrestling. However, on his own *Six Feet Under* podcast, The Undertaker also issued a warning, saying that while Paul’s high-risk moves are impressive, there’s little room for error, and every wrestler must be extremely cautious when attempting such stunts.
The 59 year old said, “If a foot slips? (…) When you’re ready to launch and your foot slips off? You’re helpless. There’s nothing you can do,” the legend stated before warning Paul and other stars. “If your foot slips while you’re about to do that launch, dude? You’re over – you’re done.”
