Bronny James Prepares for NBA Main Season Debut With Father LeBron James

These days, the Lakers are getting a lot of attention. LeBron James and his son Bronny James are currently practicing together, which is significant as they will soon be playing together during the Lakers’ regular 2024-25 season.

LeBron is starting his 22nd season, and Bronny, picked in the second round of the 2024 draft, is about to make his NBA main season debut. Fans are excited to see the first father-son team play in the league.

During practice, Bronny James showed off his skills with partner Max Christie, demonstrating their strong family bond. LeBron said, “It’s special working with him. There are things we can do without even talking. We just look at each other and know.”

However, this unique situation isn’t without challenges. There’s a buzz about potential nepotism concerns regarding Bronny’s place on the team, leading some to question the Lakers’ decision to draft him.

The preseason has ended on a high note for the Lakers, but Bronny’s lackluster performance raises doubts about his role in the regular season. Despite this, fans are eager to see LeBron and Bronny play together in their first official game.

How much did Bronny James score against Suns

Bronny James showed a little bit of improvement in his fifth preseason game with the Los Angeles Lakers, scoring 4 points in their overtime victory against the Phoenix Suns.

In this match, he played alongside stars like Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell while facing off against Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. However, LeBron did not play in this match.

Bronny played 14 minutes and added 1 rebound to his performance. Despite missing both of his free throw attempts, he made 2 out of 4 field goals, contributing very little to the Lakers’ 128-122 win.
