Ex-WWE star remembers Paul Heyman’s crucial support

Former WWE and AEW star Parker Boudreaux recently reflected on the crucial support he received from Paul Heyman, crediting the legendary manager for his successful transition from college football to professional wrestling.

In an interview with Cultaholic, Boudreaux shared how Heyman and Jim Ross played pivotal roles in recruiting him into the wrestling business. “I was 16, 17 because that’s when — okay, I’d probably say 16 because that’s when Paul Heyman and Jim Ross started recruiting me to start looking at wrestling in that way,” Boudreaux recalled.

He added, “We had the conversation for hours and he was just telling me how I could be really solid in this industry and how he hasn’t seen many people like me and this type of athlete only comes once in a while and stuff like that and to hear that dude, such a legend, talk highly about me because he’s obviously managed some of the biggest stars of all-time, like I said, it’s inspiring for sure.”
