Since Bronny James, LeBron James’ son, made his NBA debut in the preseason, he has faced a lot of criticism for his performance. It was tough to see him take four games to score his first point in the regular season, and in the preseason, he only had one strong game out of six.
Because of this, the franchise decided to move him to the G-League. He will now exclusively participate in G-League matches for the foreseeable future.
Recently, Bronny made his G-League debut, and while he didn’t steal the spotlight, his performance was impressive. His teammates played great at the end, but Bronny’s efforts didn’t go unnoticed. If he keeps this momentum up for the rest of the season, who knows? We might see him back in the pro league soon.

“He’s only going to play in the South Bay Lakers’ home games. He’s only going to kind of be a part-time G League player, and he’s not getting on United Airlines to fly to these road… pic.twitter.com/DPPf4vGUBV
However, the G League has secured his future for the time being. According to @ShamsCharania, “For now, sources said, the G League plan is for Bronny James to play in only South Bay home games – as he shuttles between both leagues and team manages his time on respective rosters.”
Fans excited about Bronny James’ positive G-League performance
Lakers’ rookie guard Bronny James has been impressing fans in the NBA G League. In his debut for the South Bay Lakers, he scored six points, grabbed three rebounds, had four assists, and two steals in a 110-96 win over the Salt Lake City Stars. This performance marks a big improvement from his earlier pro league games, and the NBA community couldn’t wait to praise LeBron’s son.

If he doesn't do well down there the criticism will be huge.
