'Inside the NBA' to Broadcast on ABC, ESPN Following TNT Shift

The Inside the NBA team—Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson—will be back next season, but not on TNT. Earlier, Barkley, who is supportive of young players, hinted that some legal issues might end the show. However, those issues are now resolved, and the show will air on ABC and ESPN starting next season.

This shift follows a lawsuit by TNT Sports’ parent, WBD, over NBA broadcast rights. TNT Sports will continue to produce Inside the NBA under the settlement, but it will now air on ABC and ESPN.

Earlier, Barkley had suggested that the show might end due to TNT not meeting Amazon’s terms in the NBA’s new broadcast deal. However, this new agreement ensures that fans will still enjoy the iconic commentary from their favorite ex-NBA stars.
