Cavaliers Join NBA Elite with 15-0 Start After Beating Hornets

The Cleveland Cavaliers are dominating the NBA with an unbeaten record. After 15 games, they still haven’t lost a match this season. On Sunday night, the Cavs made history by joining an elite group of four NBA teams with a perfect 15-0 start, defeating the Charlotte Hornets 128-114.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are now one of only four teams in NBA history to start the season unbeaten, joining the 1948-49 Washington Capitols, 1993-94 Houston Rockets, and 2015-16 Golden State Warriors.

Darius Garland led the team with 25 points and 12 assists, while Evan Mobley scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Jarrett Allen also added 21 points and 15 rebounds.

Even though Donovan Mitchell, the team’s star player, wasn’t playing, the Cavaliers still played strong as a team. Bench players like Ty Jerome, who scored a career-high 24 points, helped keep the team’s momentum going.

The Hornets, with LaMelo Ball scoring 24 points and adding 9 assists, fought hard throughout the game. But Cleveland’s teamwork and strong defense were simply too powerful for them to overcome.

Cavaliers’ head coach sets record with maximum debut streak

Kenny Atkinson, the newly appointed head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has made NBA history by leading his team to an unprecedented 15-0 start to the season. This remarkable achievement makes Atkinson the first coach in NBA history to win his first 15 games with a new team.

Lawrence Frank previously held the record with 13 straight wins as coach of the New Jersey Nets in 2003-04. Now, the Cavaliers, under Atkinson, are making history with each win. As they push forward, their next challenge is the Boston Celtics, who have only lost six home games in the last two seasons.
