LeBron James Enters Another Record Club in Utah Jazz Game, Matching Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

The Lakers’ highest-paid player, LeBron James, keeps making history in his 40s. The Lakers beat the Jazz in a close game on Sunday night, and LeBron made a lot of outstanding moves.

One of his biggest accomplishments was setting a field goal record, which put him in a small group of people with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

LeBron James made NBA history by joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only player to score more than 15,000 field goals. LeBron finished the game with 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 14 assists. He reached the milestone with a left-handed hook shot near the end of the game.

The crowd erupted in cheers as LeBron’s name joined Abdul-Jabbar in the record books, who made 15,837 field goals in his career. ‘The King’ began the game with 14,996 field goals and now has 15,008 after the win against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.

He’s averaging 8.6 field goals per game this season, so he’ll probably need to keep playing next season to break Abdul-Jabbar’s record for most career field goals.

Fans react to LeBron James’ new record
