The latest WWE SmackDown was full of surprises as Drew McIntyre unleashed a brutal attack on Jimmy Uso. Jimmy had just kicked off the show, but things quickly turned intense.
In the ongoing Bloodline storyline, McIntyre has become a key figure, bringing back his old grudge against the faction. With revenge in mind, he didn’t hesitate to launch a fierce attack on the already injured Jimmy Uso.
Jimmy Uso kicked off SmackDown by reflecting on his big WarGames win and the Bloodline’s success in 2024. He praised Roman Reigns’ dominant title reign and Jey Uso’s rise as a singles star. Jimmy then hinted at big plans for 2025, including a possible world title challenge.
Just as Jimmy was wrapping up, Drew McIntyre appeared out of nowhere and blindsided him with a brutal Claymore. McIntyre continued his attack until officials stepped in to break it up. Backstage, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis scolded McIntyre for his actions.

This isn’t Drew’s first strike against the Bloodline. He has already clashed with Sami Zayn and injured Jey Uso, who still hasn’t returned. Now, by targeting the injured Jimmy, it’s clear McIntyre is determined to take down every member connected to Roman Reigns, one by one.
Drew McIntyre breaks silence on attacking Jimmy Uso
Drew McIntyre’s repeated attacks on the Bloodline seem to have one goal: to get Roman Reigns’ attention. By targeting others in the group, he’s aiming to make things more intense.
With CM Punk now involved, Drew’s actions are heating things up even more. His rivalry with Punk has already been called the biggest feud of 2024, and no doubt, much of the credit goes to Drew.
Where’d he come from?!

Talking about his attack on Jimmy Uso, Drew said, “Regarding Jimmy Uso, when it comes to Drew McIntyre, now I do what I want when I want, and I gave and gave and gave for seventeen years to this company and these fans, and now I’m going to take. I’m going to do what I want.”
