WWE Intentionally Drops Hint About The Rock’s Return During RAW Debut on Netflix

As WWE Raw gets ready to debut on Netflix, there have been hints about The Rock returning. While many fans expected him to appear during the Tribal Combat Match between Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns, WWE has kept it a secret so far. Recently, WWE did something surprising that made it seem like they are preparing us for the return of “The Final Boss.”

Monday Night RAW is moving from USA Network to Netflix after almost 30 years on cable. The show on January 6, 2025, will feature big names like Roman Reigns, John Cena, Rhea Ripley, and CM Punk. But the real excitement is around the Tribal Combat match and the possibility of The Rock returning.

WWE recently released a promo video for the Netflix debut, including a quick two-second clip of The Rock from his WrestleMania 40 entrance. He hasn’t appeared since Bad Blood 2024 but is rumored to return, and this teaser has fans excited.

The video also hints at a potential alliance with another WWE Superstar, building even more hype. It captioned, “All these years later and it still gets us hyped! See you Monday for #WWERaw on @netflix! 🔥🔥🔥 ”

The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 plans are in doubt again

After the recent rumors, reports said Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might not have a match at WrestleMania 41 due to his busy schedule. However, The Final Boss told a fan on Instagram not to believe these rumors, saying, “Don’t believe any of that bullshit.”

WWE President Nick Khan and Triple H said that The Rock’s return is still possible, but it’s not confirmed. Dr. Chris Featherstone from Sportskeeda mentioned that WWE is planning that he won’t appear at WrestleMania 41. However, if his schedule changes, they are open to using him.
