Roman Reigns Eyes Royal Rumble Victory with Bold New Championship Mission

After a thrilling and intense Monday Night Raw on Netflix, WWE is back in full swing, focusing on creating exciting new storylines. Roman Reigns has now fully embraced his role as the only Tribal Chief of the Bloodline.

Last week’s Raw left fans with many unanswered questions, but this week’s SmackDown begins to answer one key question—what’s next for Roman Reigns? He will make his move at the upcoming Royal Rumble 2025.

Since SummerSlam, when Roman made his return after WrestleMania 40, he has been on a mission to lead his tribe, the “Ula Fala,” from Solo Sikoa. After winning back respect during Raw’s Netflix debut, it was unclear what Roman would do next until Paul Heyman made a big announcement on SmackDown.

It appeared that Roman and The Rock might engage in a feud, but this is unlikely given The Rock’s current status as a well-tuned babyface. In the mix, during the recent SmackDown episode, Paul Heyman announced that Roman will compete in the Royal Rumble for the first time in five years.

Roman, who won the Royal Rumble in 2015, plans to win the match in Indianapolis on February 1, 2025, and then challenge Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41.  There’s also talk that John Cena could win the Royal Rumble 2025. It’s going to be exciting to see who wins the 30-man match.

Fans react to Roman Reigns joining Royal Rumble

Roman Reigns’ decision to join the Royal Rumble has got fans talking. Many are excited, while others are sharing their own theories about what will happen in the match.

Some fans believe that John Cena will win the Royal Rumble and go for his 17th title. Others think The Rock might turn “heel” and interfere with Roman Reigns, causing him to lose.

There are also fans who want to see a rematch between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, since Cody already had a shot at Roman.
