The big reason for this surge in sales is John Cena’s announcement that he will be part of the Royal Rumble match during the Netflix premiere of WWE RAW on January 6, 2025. His participation is part of his farewell tour, adding excitement and emotion to the event.
WrestleTix stated, “John Cena is once again proving why he’s the biggest draw at the box office. Since I started tracking major wrestling events in 2021, his return at the ‘Summer of Cena’ added an additional 2,000-3,000 tickets, at a minimum, to every show he appeared at.”
