Solo Sikoa’s SmackDown Segment Gets a Last-Minute Change by WWE

On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa finally returned after losing his Tribal Combat match to Roman Reigns on the Netflix Raw debut show. Some backstage updates revealed that WWE couldn’t decide how to use Solo Sikoa on SmackDown, and in the end, they decided to have him walk out of his own promo.

Solo Sikoa is currently one of the most hated characters in WWE. After he stole the “Ula Fala” during Roman Reigns’ absence, fans turned on him, and no matter what WWE tries, the crowd doesn’t seem to accept him. Surprisingly, Jacob Fatu has more support from the crowd, which affects WWE’s decisions about how to use Solo.

Initially, the plan was for Solo to open the show and discuss his loss to Roman Reigns on Netflix Raw. However, things didn’t go as planned. As soon as he started speaking, the crowd booed him, and instead of continuing, he simply left.

The report said that WWE’s creative team debated the segment, but the boos made it clear that the crowd wasn’t ready to hear him speak. This could affect his future storyline.

Rikishi reacts to Solo Sikoa vs Roman Reigns’ fight on WWE Raw

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently shared his thoughts on the intense Tribal Combat match between his son Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns, which headlined WWE Raw’s debut episode on Netflix.

Speaking on his “Off The Top” podcast, Rikishi praised the match and the performances of both wrestlers. Rikishi expressed his pride in Solo’s efforts, acknowledging the hard work and dedication his son has put into his career.

He said, “I was watching my son Solo, man. I can’t tell you, man, I had a couple of tears run down my eyes. Just to know that you know how far this kid has come. It’s been a matter of three years, and the pressure that was, you know, opportunity given to him.”
