Due in large part to ongoing injury concerns affecting star players like Stephen Curry, the Warriors had their season record plummet to 22-23, putting them below .500.
It is really concerning that the ankle injury he got during the Warriors’ win over the Washington Wizards is still annoying him, though it is not very serious.
However, the Warriors star addressed the injury pain in the press conference following the match, but he just thought this pain was nothing but an excuse, which he didn’t want to make.
In the postgame, Stephen Curry said, “It sucks, but it’s not an excuse for anything. Got to play through it. I went 8-for-8 with it. It’s just something that has been lingering to the point that it gets hit every once in a while.”
Steph Curry’s knee tendinitis has improved, but his right thumb has been wrapped during games and he’s been seen shaking it in discomfort.

Although Steph Curry’s knee tendinitis has improved, he has been wrapping his right thumb during games and shaking it in discomfort. And his struggles were visible during the game as he shot just 4-for-17 from the field, including 2-for-9 from beyond the arc, finishing the game with 13 points and nine assists.
Tyrese Haliburton hails Stephen Curry’s Paris Olympics run
Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton recently praised Stephen Curry’s amazing performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He called it one of the best moments he’s ever seen in basketball.
Haliburton, despite not playing much on the US Olympic team, had the opportunity to watch Curry from the sidelines during the gold-medal game against France.
