WWE fans are in for a treat as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is set to make a highly anticipated appearance at the Elimination Chamber 2025 event. The announcement was made during a recent episode of WWE SmackDown.
In the show, he revealed his plans to attend the event in a dramatic way, which may potentially shake up the WWE landscape. Not to mention, we’re finally getting to see the real “Final Boss” version of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
It’s hard to tell if The Rock was in his “Final Boss” mode or acting as a good guy. His words were confusing, and fans are still trying to figure out what he meant on SmackDown. At times, it seemed like he was threatening Cody Rhodes, but then it felt like he was inviting him to join forces.

The Rock made it clear he would return to the Elimination Chamber to get an answer from Rhodes. He offered Cody a big opportunity, calling him “his champion” and promising to take his career to the next level.
But why did he make this offer? And what will happen if Cody says no? Even though it doesn’t seem to fit the storyline yet, this moment has fans excited and wondering what it means for WrestleMania 41.
The Rock says a match with Cody Rhodes isn’t necessary
When The Rock started appearing in WWE again, fans hoped he would face Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. But on the latest SmackDown, it seemed like The Rock didn’t want to fight Cody.
The Rock says when it comes to the Final Boss character and Cody Rhodes, it never has to culminate in a match:
