“It Was Okay” – Luka Doncic Reflects on Historic Performance in Lakers’ 106-126 Loss to Bucks

No matter how outstanding your personal performance is, if it doesn’t help the team win, it doesn’t feel as important. This happened with Luka Doncic in the recent Lakers game against the Bucks, where they lost 126-106, even though Luka scored 45 points.

Luka felt the same way and wasn’t happy, even though he set a record in his Lakers jersey on Thursday night. After the loss, the 26-year-old said, “It was okay, but nothing matters if we lose the game.”

He added, “At the end of the day, it’s a team sport, and we got to be all together. Whatever somebody does well on the court is great, but you have to win at the end of the day.”

Luka also said he’s still working on getting into his best shape this season. “Obviously, not there yet, but I think today I was feeling better. Like I say, every day a little bit more, but still not there. Got to get some things off my body, get them to feel better, and be ready,” he explained.

Luka finished last night with 45 points, 11 rebounds, and seven three-pointers after the previous two inconsistent shows. The feat made him only the third player in Lakers history to do this in a single game.

Fans React to Luka Doncic’s Record-Making Performance

Luka Doncic’s recent record-breaking performance has amazed everyone in the NBA. Of course, this achievement deserves a lot of praise. But the problem is, the Lakers lost the game, making it their third straight loss and bringing their record down to 40-24.

Because of this, some fans are upset that Luka’s incredible performance didn’t result in a win. Even some are saying that without LeBron James, Luka couldn’t win the game on his own, no matter how well he scores.
