There’s a saying, “The past always has a way of catching up with you.” Former NFL Pro Bowler Marcellus Wiley is a clear example of this, as he is now facing new allegations of raping two women while he was at Columbia University in the 1990s.
The rape accusations against this controversial person are not new. In November 2023, a woman accused him of raping her at Columbia University in 1994 when she was a virgin. This case has not been resolved yet, and now two more women have come forward with similar accusations.
The two women filed lawsuits last week, saying Wiley attacked them in separate incidents in his dorm room in 1994 when he was a star player at Columbia University. One woman, known as Jane Doe, claims Wiley invited her to his dorm room on October 27, 1994.

She says she repeatedly asked him to stop, but he ignored her and told her to relax. She also tried to report the incident to a Columbia administrator but was told it could ruin his future.
The second woman says the attack happened about a month later in Wiley’s dorm room, but not many details are known.
Marcellus Wiley dismisses old rape claims as “BS”
Marcellus Wiley posted a video on his YouTube channel in 2023, denying the previous rape allegations against him. He said he never had intercourse with the accuser but admitted he was interested in her. Wiley recalled spending a night with her in the fall of 1994 after she invited him to her dorm room.

He claimed that after their time together, the woman started spreading rumors on campus to cover up her guilt for cheating on her boyfriend. Wiley said she felt ashamed only after realizing there was no future between them.
Wiley also denied being punished by the school over the allegations, saying he wasn’t put on academic probation. Instead, he explained that he studied remotely for financial reasons and planned to redshirt that year.
