Stephen Curry Injury Status Revealed Ahead of Warriors vs Bucks Game

The Golden State Warriors’ seven-game winning streak ended on Monday, with Stephen Curry playing despite a lower back strain. Now, it looks like the Warriors might rest Curry for the second game of a back-to-back on Tuesday.

Curry’s availability for the big game against the Milwaukee Bucks is still unsure as he continues to deal with his back strain. The injury first showed up during a pregame warm-up last week, and since then, the team has been careful with how much Curry plays.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr mentioned that Curry is feeling tired, and they need to manage his injury carefully. So, the team is considering giving him rest for the Bucks game tonight.

Steve Kerr noted, “He’s exhausted right now. So we’ve got to absolutely consider giving him a night and getting him rejuvenated for the sake of him and the remainder of our games.”

Kerr added, “But we’ll see. I think he’s been tired the last few games, and so we’ve got to find a way to get him his juice back.”

Stephen Curry opens up about back pain After Nuggets Loss

Stephen Curry opened up about his back pain after the Warriors lost 114-105 to the Denver Nuggets. In a press conference, he admitted that his back had been bothering him for a few days, which affected his game.

Curry said, “Obviously I didn’t play great at all, so everybody including Coach is going to try to figure out why. Mostly the turnovers, dumb plays all night, but I had a really good run. You expect to have a level of consistency and whatnot.”

He added, “So when it doesn’t happen it becomes a question. I feel like more so my back I was dealing with the last couple of days, see how that responds tomorrow, but otherwise feel pretty solid.”
