WWE and UFC have their own Hall of Fame traditions, but fans really like UFC’s. Since 2013, UFC has been adding its best fights to a special Hall of Fame section.
Fans of wrestling have been requesting a comparable event in the Stamford-based promotion for an extended period. Now, it appears that Triple H has granted their wish by announcing a new category for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
WWE made a big announcement last night on SmackDown. They revealed a new category for their Hall of Fame ceremony in 2025 called “Immortal Moment.” This new category is inspired by UFC’s Hall of Fame. It will honor the most memorable matches and moments in wrestling history.
The first match to be honored in the “Immortal Moment” category is the famous submission match between “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Bret “Hitman” Hart from WrestleMania 13.

This match is considered one of the greatest in WWE history because of its dramatic story and surprising twist. We expect both Austin and Hart to attend the ceremony and accept the honor.
The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony date will stay the same. Like before, it will take place during WrestleMania weekend. This year, the ceremony will be held at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, the host city for WrestleMania 41.
Sting could also be featured in WWE Hall of Fame
It appears that Sting is providing fans with an additional opportunity to witness him in his iconic face paint at the forthcoming WWE Hall of Fame. Even though he is currently under contract with AEW, reports claim that WWE is trying to bring him back for one night to honor Lex Luger.
Additionally, the 65-year-old WWE Hall of Famer updated the dates for his tour in a new social media post today. However, these are all just speculations for now, and the wrestling community is waiting for official confirmation.
