There’s one person in WWE who’s clearly had enough of Randy Orton—SmackDown GM Nick Aldis. Out of all the officials, he’s taken the most RKOs from Orton. And now, it looks like Aldis is finally ready to strike back and get his revenge.
Kevin Owens is out of the WrestleMania 41 roster due to a neck injury. This leaves his opponent, Randy Orton, without anyone to feud with at the big event. Understandably, Orton is furious, especially since he was almost guaranteed a respected spot at the Grandest Show in Las Vegas.
Following Owens’ injury, when SmackDown GM Nick Aldis removed Orton from the show, the angry Viper nearly hit him with an RKO—his signature move. This wasn’t the first time either. Aldis was previously struck by an RKO shortly after joining SmackDown at the 2023 Survivor Series.
Following that, and after General Manager Nick Aldis informs Randy Orton he has no match at WrestleMania anymore, Orton gets his RKO in on Aldis —it'll be intriguing to see how the GM responds.pic.twitter.com/Do8W1GMo0z

Now, some reports suggest that Aldis isn’t planning to forgive Orton for attacking him a second time. He might even recruit Omos—the 7-foot-3-inch monster—as his bodyguard to protect himself and teach Orton a lesson.
Omos recently returned to WWE after a stint with Pro Wrestling NOAH. If Aldis really brings in the giant, Orton may be in for a tough fight.
Randy Orton still in WWE’s WrestleMania 41 plans
Despite recent events suggesting that Randy Orton might miss WrestleMania, WWE appears to have a different perspective. The company is still considering other ways to keep him involved in Las Vegas.
Sources say that backstage officials are “heavily insisting” that Randy Orton is being considered as the “host” for WrestleMania 41. This is reportedly due to no plans for a match for him being discussed at all.

One popular speculation is that WWE could build a storyline between Nick Aldis and Randy Orton, especially since Orton has already hit the general manager with an RKO twice.
Another rumor suggests that the company might include The Viper in the ongoing feud between Cody Rhodes and John Cena. With more than two weeks left before the grandest show kicks off, WWE still has time to decide something special for the 45-year-old legend.
