The Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury fight recently got derailed for the second time in a row and this has been compared to the Tony Ferguson vs Khabib Nurmagomedov fight which never happened.
Jake’s older brother Logan Paul really said in an interview that the Fury versus Paul fight is never likely to happen as Tommy fury has been avoiding entering the ring with the “problem child” Jake Paul.
This situation is akin to the much anticipated and talked about fight between the two greatest lightweights in UFC history Khabib and Tony. The pair were set to face off against each other on five separate occasions but the bout never materialized. It was canceled due to a number of reasons ranging from a pandemic to tripping over wires at press conferences.
The canceled fights are firmly embedded in UFC fan folklore and is one of the most talked-about topics ever. Similarly, Jake Paul versus Tommy Fury was canceled on two separate occasions.
Most recently Homeland security stopped Tommy from entering the United States showcasing unexplained reasons. Instead, JP is set to face Hasim Rahman Junior as a last-minute replacement opponent.
The first fight was also canceled due to Tommy pulling out at the last minute due to an injury he suffered in training. That is why Logan Paul compared the Jake Paul versus Tommy Fury Saga to that of Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov and Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson.
