The legendary quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady, made his first public remarks following an 11-day absence to attend to what has been referred to as “personal matters,” saying on Saturday that he “feels good” and that leaving the team was not a difficult choice.
“It’s all personal. Everyone’s got different situations they’re dealing with,” Brady said. “We all have really unique challenges to our life. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s— going on. Just gotta try to figure out life the best you can. It’s a continuous process.”

Brady responded, “I’m ready to go,” when asked whether he was able to address the issues he needed to during his time away and if he is now in a better place.
After being away from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 11 days, Tom Brady made his way back onto the field this past week. On Saturday’s exhibition finale, Brady made his preseason debut, going 6 of 8 for 44 yards over the course of just 11 plays.
For Brady to receive the game experience he needs to get ready for the regular season, that was sufficient. Brady participated in at least one exhibition game each time he was healthy throughout the preseason. Brady didn’t worry when he left Tampa Bay for almost two weeks because of this.

TB12 thanked the Buccaneers for their support in enabling him to take the lengthy sabbatical so close to the start of the regular season since he had planned the break in advance and obtained permission from the organization. Additionally, he subtly refuted speculations that he wished to play elsewhere.
Due to his prolonged absence from the squad, Brady missed the first two preseason matchups. According to reports, the future Hall of Fame quarterback was absent because he and his wife, Gisele, were on holiday in the Bahamas. Brady has, of course, neither acknowledged nor denied his location.
Brady’s 20-yard pass to Julio Jones, which resulted in a field goal on his lone series, dispelled any worries that he would be rusty after being missing. With 15 days until the Buccaneers’ season opener, Brady has plenty of time to get off to a strong start.
“I feel good. I’ve played football for a long time. I’m pretty good at it,” Brady said. “Doesn’t take me long for me to remember how to play it.”
