As the time of the fight gets closer and closer, anticipation is slowly building towards the YouTube star‘s fight vs. the MMA legend. Just like the fans, Tom Aspinall has made his controversial picks for the long-awaited battle as well.
The recent trend is set to continue, as YouTube sensation Jake Paul will face MMA legend Anderson Silva on October 29. Fans are already hyped up about the bout. Some fans think the old legend can’t possibly take on a young star. Other fans think the YouTube star doesn’t know who he is dealing with.
The young UFC star and heavyweight contender, Aspinall has also determined who he believes will emerge as the ultimate victor. Aspinall has chosen Paul to be his favorite for the upcoming fight. In an interview with Midnite, Aspinall shared his opinion about the fight.
He said, “I think he’s got Anderson Silva at a good time. Silva has obviously got a lot of miles on the clock. But he also has a lot of skills so it’s an interesting fight, Silva has got to be pushing 50 now but the skills are still there, the body is still there. I think Jake Paul takes it, I think Paul should be able to outwork him being the younger and fresher man but you never know.”
Later he also added, “Silva’s getting a bit older and Paul’s young and hungry – and Jake Paul’s looked good. I don’t care what anybody says, it looks like he has got skills. So I think he wins that one.”
