Luka Doncic this season has produced some extraordinary performances allowing him to obtain the nickname “Luka Legend”. Moreover, there is a debate about whether Doncic is now on par with Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
The debate started after Luka not only achieved 50 points in three matches out of five but also scored an incredible 60-point triple-double. Undoubtedly, Micheal Jordan and Kobe Bryant are legends of the game with many records in the NBA, along with six titles to Jordan and five to Bryant. Yet, at the age of 23, none could match the stats of Luka.
What did Luka Doncic achieve at the age of 23?
Doncic is an extremely talented youngster with a lot of potentials. During the holiday season- from the 24th of December to the 1st of January- the Dallas Mavericks played a total of five games where Luka stood out from the rest of the players in his team, the Mavericks went on to win all five games, and Luka scored 50, 32,60,35 and 51 points.
No other player in history has achieved more in between five games, nor did any score as much as him at the age of 23. The mavericks also won their last match against the rockets with a 111-106 scorecard.

On the other hand, Luka is one of only eight players in NBA history to record multiple 50-point performances before reaching 25- a lot of players went on to score three forty-pointers; however, no one ever even thought of attempting such sorcery Doncic produced.

Furthermore, the achievement of Luka- sixty-point triple-double was never attempted before him. The pace that Doncic plays with can only get better as time progresses, meaning the player can offer something even more outrageous in the future, supposedly helping the player to surpass greats and legends like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.
While that conversation is still far away, fans would be hoping to see Doncic continue his current form, produce more match-winning performances, and emerge as the victor of the ongoing season.
