After leaving the haunt of Manchester behind, Cristiano Ronaldo is now an Al Nassr player following his move as a free agent that will earn him around $200 million per season.
Officially unveiled in front of a packed stadium, where CR7 and his entire family were present, the atmosphere was electric as the crowds had the opportunity to witness the greatest player of all time with their own eyes.

He passed the medical, was declared fit, and set to make his debut for his new team against Al Tae, but English FA imposed a ban on him for an incident against Everton that occurred in April at Goodison Park.
The illustrious footballer had a miserable outing for the “Red Devils” as part of a reunion and got involved in numerous incidents that went horribly wrong and transformed him into a villain. One of them is undoubtedly the incident in Goodison Park where he was discovered smashing a 15-year-old boy’s phone and leaving him shocked and hurt.

Following the initial completion of the Al Nassr move, the English Football Association accurately handed Cristiano a two-game suspension and a $50000 fine. According to what appears to be FIFA regulations, he must still serve a two-match domestic suspension when he joins his new club even though it is in another continent.
Cristiano Ronaldo will not be able to make his Al Nassr debut against Al Tai on Thursday, as initially thought, because it is understood that he must serve a two-match ban from his time Manchester United. https://t.co/G3t6vk0fyM pic.twitter.com/dXTcERqV56

Article 12.1 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players states: “Any disciplinary sanction of up to four matches or up to three months that has been imposed on a player by the former association but not yet (entirely) served by the time of the transfer shall be enforced by the new association at which the player has been registered in order for the sanction to be served at the domestic level. When issuing the ITC, the former association shall notify the new association via TMS of any such disciplinary sanction that has yet to be (entirely) served.”
Due to his punishment, he will not make his debut for the club until January 21 against Al-Ettifaq, and excited about the match. Ronaldo will relish the opportunity to learn from his past errors and may hope to make different headlines in the near future.
