Athletes from different sports industries may achieve numerous successes, but when it comes to the national level, there is nothing more prestigious than this.
Stephen Curry has been a member of the United States national men’s basketball team since his early twenties, having joined the team at the 2007 FIBA Under-19 World Championship. Later, he also appeared in the FIBA Basketball World Cup twice, in 2010 and 2014.
After missing the 2016 Olympics due to an ankle injury, he is set to join the NT for the upcoming Paris Olympics in 2024. It will be a tremendous honor for Stephen to represent his country on the Olympic stage.

In a recent interview with NBA insider Marc Stein, Curry expressed his desire to be a part of the 2024 Olympic team. “I’m more than excited about the opportunity to do it. Knowing that Coach Kerr is taking the lead,” Curry said. “I played on those two world championship teams and everybody who’s ever experienced both is never shy to mention how much different the Olympics is.”
As he said, Steve Kerr, his current coach at the Golden State Warriors, will add a great deal of value to the 34-year-old’s performance on the international level. It will be a huge opportunity for Stephen to lift himself further.
“They all say it’s not even close in terms of the vibe and the atmosphere and the buildup and the adrenaline and all that,” Stephen continued. “I don’t know what the chances are, because you don’t know what’s going to happen, but I would love to have that experience at some point for sure.”
In his 13-year career, Curry won the NBA title four times, the NBA season MVP twice, NBA all-star team honor eight times, and the NBA finals MVP in his final season (2022). There is still room for the medal on the international Olympic team.
With Kerr as a coach and Kevin Durant as a teammate, Steph will have favorable odds to perform at her highest level. but there is a long way to go to Paris. In the meantime, the two-time NBA scoring champion is praying to be healthy and fully fit for the tournament.
Stephen has had a marvelous career with consistent performance. He averaged 24.5 points per game, with 47.4% field goals, 42.7% three-pointers, and 90.8% free throws, as well as 4.7 rebounds and 6.5 assists.
