“Big fight news coming soon” UFC star Jorge Masvidal teases upcoming bout

A veteran in the Welterweight division is seemingly gearing up for his big return inside the Octagon. The 170lbs division was getting boring with Kamaru defeating almost everybody and the top contenders pretty much unwilling to take tough fights. Now Jorge Masvidal finally appears free from all the legal troubles he has gone through and teases a return.

Following the altercation against his long-time rival Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington, the current holder of the BMF title has been absent from the public for a while. In the meantime fighters like Gilbert ‘Durinho’ Bruns have been calling out the veteran for a while. Since ‘Gamebred’ remained silent many thought they had seen the last of him.

But Masvidal left a message for Burns warning him, “I’ve gotten some much better news on today, so guess what?” “If you want to get your a** whooped when Leon Edwards defends that f****** belt in England, I will gladly beat the living s*** out of you Gilbert. If not, shut the f*** up.”

He continued, “Because you are a p****. You’re not going to do nothing. When you see me in the street or when you see me in the cage, and we both know it, you’re going to ask me for a picture in real life and say it’s all bulls*** and it’s just for the pay-per-view. So shut the f*** up.”

After Masvidal’s recent announcement on Twitter, Gilbert seems to have taken attention as well and teased a London bout in reply. Earlier Belal Muhammad accused the Brazilian of stealing a Colby Covington fight from him but after the recent developments, all matchups seem to be falling in place nicely.

How strong will Jorge Masvidal be once he returns?

While we can’t say for sure what the future holds, ‘Gamebred’ did not take his break on a very high note. He has lost all three of his last outings and the Masvidal that knocked out Ben Askren with a flying knee seems long gone.

Who do you want to see Jorge go against?
