Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the most respected and loved figures in both the combat sports and movie entertainment world. The former wrestler turned actor has won his place in the heart of millions through his appearances on the world’s biggest wrestling promotion. So when his mother got into an accident, everybody became gravely concerned.
On Instagram, The Tock posted a picture of a damaged Cadillac and wrote, “Thank you, God. She’s ok. Angels of mercy watched over my mom as she was in a car crash late last night. She’ll survive and continue to get evaluated. This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head-on collision with a drunk driver. She’s a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real.”
“Thank you LAPD & LAFD for being so caring & focused. Thanks for staying on phone and talking me thru it all. I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug ‘em hard, cos you never know when you’ll get that 3 am call we never want to get.”
The likes of former gold medalist swimmer Michael Phelps, * consecutive Mr. Olympia winner Ronnie Coleman, and UFC President Dana White had expressed solidarity in the comment of the post. This is particularly ironic considering the serious allegations Dana’s mother had brought against her own son before.
What is The Rock up to?
The rock has seemingly all but departed from his wrestling career at this point. While some rumors involving Wrestlemania 39 still fly around, it’s unclear if we will actually see Flex Kavana finally get back inside the ring and perform another People’s elbow ever again!
The former champion currently is focused strictly on his acting career. There have been rumors of him leaving the DCEU following Henry Cavil’s departure and the low success of Black Adam but nothing has been confirmed.
