“The disrespect” James Harden, 76ers teammates rips NBA after All-Star team exclusion

Disrespecting is a common term in any field, but it is the worst kind of action that may lead to any damage in long term, which can be seen in the recent activity of James Harden and his teammates, which is really shocking & it may bring a threat to NBA.

James Harden is not happy that his streak of straight NBA All-Star selections has come to an end. On Friday, the club released its backup lineup, and the 33-year-old reportedly did not make it.

Harden posted a post on his Instagram handles that captioned only “The disrespect” in reply to the announcement. In 2022, in his first year with the Philadelphia 76ers, 10 times All-Star Harden was performing at his peak.

In 34 games this season, he has scored 21.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 11.0 assists, and four triple-doubles. Actually, if he had participated in one extra match, his assist average would have been the highest in the NBA, surpassing the required percentage of participation of 70% to be included on NBA leaderboards, according to ESPN.

Tyrese Haliburton (10.3) and Nikola Jokic (10.1), who were selected as beginning and backup for their individual All-Star teams, are the following nearest to his help per game average. The revelation on Friday equally infuriated Harden’s partners considering these numbers and his entire season effectiveness.

Georges Niang, a teammate, responded with the tweet “JAMES HARDEN @JHarden13 amazing” in reply to the topic of who was the “greatest East snub.” Tobias Harris, a teammate, also mentioned Harden, while Joel Embiid, a reserve player, did tweet: “Y’all got some explaining to do @NBA.”

The Philadelphia Inquirer quoted 76ers H.C Doc Rivers as stating, “I didn’t even think it would be a question [that Harden would be selected]. “And for him not to be on the All-Star team when, at the time that voting went in, we were the second seed — Boston has two, Milwaukee has two, we have one.

“I think your record should matter, I think James Harden’s numbers should matter and I do think a history of his work should matter.

“This is maybe something that we should consider having coaches’ votes public.” Rivers wrapped up by saying: “This never should have happened.”
