The Buffalo Bills have gone through a roller coaster this season with safety Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest, and it even affected owner Kim Pegula.
Kim is a visionary American businesswoman born in South Korea in 1969. His husband, Terry Pegula, and she won the Buffalo Bills in a $1.4 billion all-cash bid in 2014, defeating former US President Donald Trump and famous rock singer Bon Jovi.
Her health issues’ details, however, were not revealed until yesterday, when her daughter, tennis star Jessica Pegula, shared an article from Players Tribune on Twitter.
What is the current health condition of Buffalo Bills owner Kim Pegula?
The tennis star revealed that after her mother Kim suffered a cardiac arrest last year, her sister had to administer CPR to keep her alive. “My mom was asleep when my dad woke up to her going into cardiac arrest and she was unresponsive for quite a while,” Jessica wrote. “My sister gave her CPR until the ambulance arrived. She saved her life.”
It felt like it was time. Thank you to @PlayersTribune for sharing this story ♥️ https://t.co/dUxiUHaFuk

Jessica started playing professional tennis in 2009, and since then she has won two singles titles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour, one WTA Challenger doubles title, and seven ITF doubles titles. Last June, when she came to us after qualifying for the quarterfinals in singles and the finals in doubles at the French Open, her mother suffered the incident.
Later in that article, the 28-year-old revealed that the current condition of her health is not suitable for her to continue the activity for the franchise. Kim’s situation worsened during Hamlin’s incident earlier this year, and the fans are shocked at this unsettling revelation.
The Bills have made significant progress under the 53-year-old woman’s leadership, winning the division title for the first time in 27 years in 2020.
Kim is also the co-owner of the Buffalo Sabres and CEO of Pegula Sports and Entertainment. In 2018, she became the franchise’s first female president in the history of both the NFL and NHL.
We at SportsZion wish Kim Pegula a speedy recovery and the opportunity to lead the Buffalo Bills.
